Deakin University’s school of Film, Television & Animation holds an annual graduate screening event to showcase student projects.

I was asked to create a visual system that could be applied across the event programme, promotional materials, and supporting assets, while presenting graduate work in a way that felt considered, professional, and celebratory.

The design focuses on clarity, structure, and restraint. Strong typographic hierarchy and consistent layouts were used to help readers quickly find information without visual overload. Colour and contrast were carefully balanced to maintain legibility across print formats, while spacing and pacing were used to create a calm, readable experience.

“Nate was a delight to work with. He created sophisticated ideas that nailed the brief, took on feedback and delivered exactly what we wanted before the deadline. I would highly recommend working with this consummate professional.”
